Our Mission

Colorful Alphabet Letters

Talk2Learn is a grassroots educational program dedicated to providing free native speaker communication to language learners. Our approach focuses on conversation-based learning rather than memorization of vocabulary and gramatical structure. We immerse students not only with their target language, but with the culture(s) that accompany it. Through bi-weekly, master teacher led, zoom meetings and monthly immersion trips, our students approach language through an innovative and captivating approach, one which they would never experience sitting in a classroom.

Classes

Talk2Learn classes are held every other week on Google Meet; the schedule and meeting links can be found here. Each class is led by a Master Teacher—a language expert who guides and enriches the conversation. Every student is encouraged to participate and practice at their own level. Even if a student isn’t yet comfortable speaking their target language, our classes offer an immersive environment that builds confidence through auditory exposure.

Talk2Learn is designed for learners at every stage: from beginners who want to familiarize themselves with the sound and rhythm of a language, to intermediate speakers looking to gain fluency, to advanced learners aiming to refine their skills. Breakout rooms may be created at the Master Teacher’s discretion to support more focused practice.
